STUFFIANS & LEADERS OF THE FUTURE, at KEM KEPIMPINAN PENGAWAS, SEKOLAH TENGKU MAHMUD ISKANDAR, JOHOR

Assalamualaikum, Hi & Hello to all,

For this entry, we brought to you another new Stuff’s experience with those cute little faces of ‘adik-adik’ from Sekolah Tengku Mahmud Iskandar (STMI), Johor. Held on 15-17 March 2013, this program called ‘Kem Kepimpinan Pengawas’ was a program specially conducted for the school’s prefects and was attended by students from Form 2 to Pre University Students.

The journey began on Friday, 15 March 2013 - the facilitators and committees travelled all the way from Gombak to Ledang, Johor. Around 200 participants of the program were disbursed into 11 groups, with 2 facilitators in each group. Jawa Rangers, Gen Y, Al-Faruq, Banzai, Awesome and Worry Warrior were among the creative names invented by members of the groups. The modules were focusing on leadership, where we intend to bring out and polish the leadership talent in each participant. The most special in this program for sure were the Camp Commandants that gained star level popularity for their roles.

It is hoped that through this program, the prefects were able to learn something and become better prefects that can be role models for the other students. Congratulation to committees, facilitators, participants, STMI & STUFF for making the program a success! This journey of 3 days and 2 nights was an experience like no other, available only at STMI the great.

Testimonies of participants:
“Bagi saya, program hari tu banyak manfaat, bekerjasama dan banyak lagi. Dan hari tu aktiviti indoor terlalu banyak…anyway banyak dapat belajar dari situ…”.
(Wada Schana, Form 5)

“Selepas menyertai program, pengawas – pengawas nampak lebih bertanggungjawab dan lebih berani untuk tampil ke hadapan.”
(Wakil Pengawas, Pre-University)
